| Abstract: | This research is about encouraging learners to participate in the management of their schools through technology and a constructivist approach. Learners populate a database with photos on the state of the school infrastructure, availability of resources, maintenance of school grounds and violations of discipline. This database can be accessd by Department of Basic Education inspectors for decision making. The technology reported on is based on integrating the Mobicents platform, Ushahidi platform and cell phone technology. |
