| Abstract: | During a visit to Cape town in December 1967, the opportunity was sized to visit the sea shore at Sea point, a suburb and seaside resort near Cape Town, For the purpose of obtaining fertile class material of Laminaria, Ecklonea and polysiphonia which are readily collected from drifting seaweeds torn from the vast kept beds just offshore. |
