dc.description.abstract An efficient method of integration for far field calculations is derived. The method applies to the integrals arising from calculation of far field pattern with higher-order polynomial basis functions and moment method. The integral under consideration is a product of a power and exponential functions. Depending on the electrical length of the integration path and the required accuracy, either integration by parts or small parameter expansion is applied, in a recursive manner. The speed performance of a Matlab implementation indicates that the presented method is favourable compared to the commercial software “WIPL-D” used as a reference en
