This is being addressed this by the Review of the Greening Status of the Stadia for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa project commissioned the Republic of South Africa’s Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism (DEAT). This project is being undertaken by Green by Design (GbD), Paul Carew Consulting (PjC) and the South African Council for Industrial and Scientific Research (CSIR) and aims to review the sustainability initiatives that have been included in the 2010 FIFA World Cup stadia.
