However, their implementation continues to fail. Amongst other reasons, the lack of project quality management is found as a key contributor to the failure of e-health solutions implementation projects in rural hospitals. Hence, a Generic Quality Assurance Model developed in this study for the successful acquisition of e-health solutions in rural hospitals to enable improved quality of care and service delivery.
