Science Real and Relevant, CSIR International Convention Centre, Pertoria 30 August – 01 September 2010, South AfricaThis study presents the results of a practical investigation into the robustness of the newly developed Military Extremity (MiL-Lx) lower leg, as compared to the Hybrid III (HIII) lower leg, with respect to repeatability and reproducibility under typical mine-protected vehicle landmine blast load conditions. Tests were performed using the Lower Limb Impactor (LLI) on both the MiL-Lx leg and the Hybrid III leg, and the relative responses compared.
