Wind pressure loading for tall buidings: a case study of Warsaw Trade Tower. In: Lightweight Structures in Civil Engineering, Warsaw Military University of Technology (WAT), Warsaw, 7 December 2012http://hdl.handle.net/10204/6668Lightweight Structures in Civil Engineering, Warsaw Military University of Technology (WAT), Warsaw, 7 December 2012This paper presents an overview of wind-tunnel tests of one of the highest buildings in Poland - Warsaw Trade Tower. The aim of the tests was to evaluate the extreme values of wind pressure over building facade. In the first part, the development of the building model and its surroundings, as well as the testing methods are described. The second part provides a description of the evaluation of the extreme pressure values using Gumbel distribution. Minimum and maximum wind pressure patterns over facade are discussed in the third part.enWind tunnel testingHigh-rise buildingsWind actionWind pressure loading for tall buidings: a case study of Warsaw Trade TowerConference PresentationCwik, M., Gizejowski, M., Goliger, A.
