dc.description.abstract Volunteer workers contribute to many aspects of society. There are volunteer organisations which formally assist in many areas such as health, education, housing, safety and security. Virtual volunteering is less common. Virtual volunteering is the phenomenon of people volunteering their services and expertise via the Internet. This paper describes work towards a sustainable model of sourcing volunteers for a mobile, online tutoring environment. This is a work in progress. en_US
