dc.description Geosynthesis 2011, Cape Town, South Africa, 30 August-1 September 2011 en_US
dc.description.abstract Underground mining is a high risk activity, and the design of an autonomous gold miner will reduce high risk to miners, monitor underground conditions and reduce costs. The narrow reef autonomous mining machine will be designed to be an underground navigator, will include a sounding device and have gold analysing and 3D scanner-mapping abilities. en_US
