| Abstract: | COP17 is primarily a meeting about climate change and what can be done internationally to mitigate climate change. The overarching mitigation goal is to develop a legally binding agreement to control and limit the amount of GHGs that countries would be allowed to emit. Such a goal compromises the key issues as it is the GHGs that are causing man's contribution to climate change. |
