dc.description The diatoms flora of Southern Africa No.3. Shcoeman, FR and Archibal, REM. CSIR Special report WAT 50, September 1977 en_US
dc.description.abstract The authors in their various issues aim at describing twenty species in each issue. Failure to achieve this aim is due, partly to the short intervals between the issue dates, but more specifically to all the work involved in ensuring the correct identity if the species presented, an illustrating them through the medium of the light, transmission and scanning electron microscopes. The latter is probably the most valuable contribution the Flora makes to diatomists en_US
