dc.description.abstract In this paper the authors advocate an approach that supplements current teaching. The approach exploits certain properties of the Internet of Things such as sensing the environment in which the learner is situated, and the ability to inform the learner about the environment. They propose the Internet of Things to aid experiential learning, supported by scenarios where the Internet of Things has been integrated within a child's daily activities. Examples of both commercial products and research experiments are given to support the notion of integration of learning with the Internet of Things. en_US
