dc.description.abstract The main objective of the development of a two-step “green” synthesis for (-)-ambafuran production is to find an alternative synthesis of (-) Ambrox from sclareol, to use a bioconversion or biocatalysis route, and that it results in a natural or nature-identical product. The final aim is to scale the process to bench scale, to finalise a technology package which the client can use and to commercialise the technology. en
