dc.description.abstract This paper investigates how video playback can be introduced in DAISY by building on the DAISY 3 standard and on existing open-source software. The paper presents the process of creating and authoring a video-based sign language DAISY publication to serve as test cases. Additionally, the Ability Based Technical Intervention prototype demonstrates how content can be further adapted to users' abilities, learning style and literacy levels to make all-inclusive videobased publications. en
