dc.description.abstract This is a concept poster which examines the use of supply chain management in planning and managing large or data-intensive Geographic Information System (GIS) projects. Current management models in GIS are either on an organisational or a project level. There is no single management model that manages the flow of data (materials), information and money from the supplier to the client's production. This poster considers looks at the possibility of using supply chain management and the Supply- Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model to map and manage the production of GIS products en
