| Abstract: | Skilful dialogue design in an interactive voice response system has facilitated the effective use of a telephone-based health information syatem ny caregivers to HIV/AIDS-infected childern in Botswana. The intended users, caregivers, can access information over telephone line in their local language. This uniqueness necessitates the design of a system to meet specific concerns and decisions, which will ensure its usefulness and usability to its intended users. This document describes both context and content design of the dialogue system. |
