| Abstract: | The South African National Committee for Oceanographic Research (SANCOR) coordinates and administers a significant portion of the marine research conducted in South Africa under six discrete programmes. These are; Benguela Ecology, Coastal Processes, Estuaries, Marine Linefish, Marine Pollution and Marine Sedimentology.
