The broad objective is to make recommendations for appropriate modelling procedures to be used in the structural design of asphalt layers. Findings of this investigation are intended to be used in refining and validating existing asphalt pavement design and analysis models, or where more appropriate, to develop new models for the prediction of working stresses and strains in asphalt layers.
