dc.description.abstract The concept of an integrated structure for the capacitor, inductor and transformer of the series resonant converters presented. It is shown that the necessary capacitance can be achieved by using a bifilar primary and the leakage inductance of the transformer replaces the physical inductor. By integrating three components into one it would be possible to save space, mass, volume and cost. A method to integrate the capacitor, inductor and transformer of a series resonant converter has been described. The results presented shows that an integrated L-C-T structure is practical and can successfully be modelled. The proposed component has been constructed and operated in a series resonant converter with success. en_US
