| Abstract: | The project has produced information and methodologies for use by designers, mine managers and engineers to improve the health and safety associated with the use of trackless vehicles in mines. The project deliverables focus on assisting; designers optimising new vehicle ergonomics; mines specifying the ergonomics of new vehicles; and mines improving the ergonomics standards of their current vehicles by detailed risk assessment methodologies and cost-effective retrofit modifications. |
