dc.description.abstract This study reports the work carried out to perform radiometric calibration of an airborne FMCW SAR test bed developed by the CSIR in South Africa. Factors of the radar range equation are explored to study the multidimensional problem of radiometric calibration or radar. Emphasis is made on the effects of turbulent platform motion or airborne platforms on all of the Radar range equation variables. en_US
