The aim of this project was to establish the needs of the industry with regard to bord and pillar ventilation requirements. In addition, the aim was to establish whether sufficient research has already been done by the mining industry and if further projects could be initiated by miningtek in co-operation with different mines. This report deals with the findings of this project and also deals with the future of research within Miningtek with regard to underground ventilation.
