The response of three 55/45wool/cotton blend fabrics to bleaching with peroxide by conventional cold-pad-dwell and pad-steam methods under both acid and alkaline conditions has been examined, and compared with the performance of all wool and all-cotton fabrics bleached under identical conditions.
