dc.description.abstract The deterioration of the road pavement is largely a function of the traffic loads acting on the pavement. Between fifteen and twenty percent of all heavy vehicles in South Africans roads are overloaded and these vehicles contribute approximately sixty per cent of the damage to the road infrastructure. en_US
