dc.description.abstract The Ulwazi concept is based on the digital inclusion of geographically separated classrooms being linked by broadband radio connections to enable virtual interactive and collaborative lessons using SMART technologies. What started out as a simple experiment in using connectivity to overcome a transport problem has evolved into a project with key elements of a social transformation process. Expansion of the project to digitally include a much wider community can provide a platform to explore solutions to digitally include an increasing number of learners in a modern technologically advanced educational classroom of the future. en
