| Abstract: | This article provides a brief overview of the current State of Logistics and government’s response in terms of the National Freight Logistics Strategy. It reviews focus areas in international and local logistics research that were used to inform the development of a framework within which research themes are identified. Such a locally relevant agenda requires collaboration between various role players who conduct research on diverse aspects of logistics, all of which ultimately contribute to the collective understanding of the logistics system. |
